Drama has been created within this original watercolour painting of Idris Elba.  This painting shows him in the popular TV series called Luther. He is painted discretely standing by a wall with the London Skyline in the background. I have used bright colours throughout and overlaid with black, this creates a unique style of painting and adds life and drama.
 
The colours in the skyline bleed together and blend, whilst the zig-zags through the base represent the life of London. Luther is protecting the city of London. This painting is part of the Black Live Matter series of work.
